da prosport bet: Celtic have been impressed with Tottenham Hotspur loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers and are thus expected to take up the option of making the transfer permanent, claims football.london’s Alasdair Gold.
The Lowdown: Carter-Vickers’ loan
da bet vitoria: Since arriving in Glasgow at the beginning of the season, the 24-year-old has gone on to cement himself as a staple in Celtic’s back-line. The defender has played the full 90 minutes in all 28 Scottish Premiership games for which he’s been available.
Carter-Vickers has contributed to Celtic’s current first-place position in the league table with his 4.2 clearances a game (via WhoScored), for which he has averaged an impressive 7.36/10 SofaScore average match rating this season.

The Latest: Gold’s news…
According to Alasdair Gold of football.london, due to the success of his loan spell, Celtic are expected to take up the option to buy Carter-Vickers.
It is reported that the fee consists of an initial £6m, with potential add-ons bringing this up to an eventual £10m.
However, Gold also claims that a number of Premier League sides are interested in the signing.
The Verdict: Good move for him
Having made just five first-team appearances for Tottenham, it seems rather unlikely that the 24-year-old is going to have any real chance with the Lilywhites.
Hailed by pundit Chris Sutton as an “excellent” defender, it would be a shame to see Carter-Vickers waste his talents in Spurs’ reserves, or on loan at a number of different clubs.

Therefore, as he seems to have excelled in the Scottish league, Celtic sanctioning the permanent transfer would be a great move for the Tottenham man, banking Daniel Levy and co. a decent profit in the process.
