Pulis said:"(chief executive) Tony Scholes is actually coming down today to have a chat, so we'll see where we are, but that will be left to the football club and Jermaine's people.
"I think everybody would like him to stay but, as I've said before, we have a structure at the football club that (chairman) Peter Coates and his family are very keen to keep.
"It's a tough world out there at the moment and we have to work within our means.
