Villa were impressive going forward, but it would be fair to say that they looked a little shaky at the back, with Mile Jedinak struggling to impress at centre-back.
Jedinak has long impressed in a midfield position, but the Australian had a difficult afternoon alongside James Chester in the heart of Villa’s back four.

It will certainly be interesting to see whether Bruce selects the 34-year-old in defence again, but the Villa fans are hopeful that is not the case.
