Arsenal endured a difficult summer but the fans have rallied together this weekend to mock one player in particular, following a woeful debut for his new side.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain left Arsenal on Deadline Day to move to Premier League rivals Liverpool, days after starting the Gunners’ 4-0 defeat to the Reds, but his time on Merseyside didn’t get off to the best of starts this weekend.

The England international came off the bench during the 5-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, a result that hit Jurgen Klopp’s side hard following their victory prior to the international break against Arsenal.

Given the fact that he snubbed a new deal to move across the Premier League, Arsenal fans did not have sympathy for their former player and took to social media to mock the 24-year-old; with many pointing out his Arsenal debut didn’t go too well either.
